Culture and Core Values

What is the work culture like ? this.

The net culture of our studio is characterised by our core values of our employees, which are:-
  • Open and honest communication.  People are encouraged to speak their mind (as opposed to.. 'toing the line') and it is well understood that such communication will be actively listened to and possibly applied. People are not only receptive to feedback, but are encouraged to seek it, especially critical one. After all, no one got better by being defensive of status quo.
  • Discipline. Yes, you read that right. Many of us have military background and we take our timing and appearance seriously. And our job requires adhering to milestones and deadlines. So don't bother applying if you can't manage to turn up on time.
  • Team above individual.
  • Quality over quantity. No compromises there.
  • We measure what we do, and then become better at it. We aim to be better versions of ourselves (as individuals, as a team) with every new game and projects. Expect to see a lot of graphs, gantt charts, and venn diagrams. Lots of planing. Some of it even survives first contact with the customer.

Open Positions

We are on the lookout for individuals who are a good fit technically and culturally. The culture and core values are listed above, and technical skill-set varies from team to team. We are currently looking for individual who can fit in the below teams:-
  • Communications The communications team members are expected to be the bridge between us and our audience. The audience is - customers for our games,  potential recruits for our job openings. The communication team is expected to be comfortable with digital marketing tools and content creation. It'd help if the communication team members are already archetypes of the community they are to reach out to - gamers and engineers.
  • Game Development Game Development has two disciplines - Art and Code. As an artist - you HAVE TO be able to make great low-poly 3D models which are textured (beautifully) and rigged to be used in game. Its a plus if you can also handle 2D art (like concept art, and some Ui/Ux jobs). But you will will have to make 3D models (did we mention they have to be low poly and spectacularly textured ?). As a coder, you have be good at OOPS programming in C# in Unity3D. Expect to know your events and delegates.
  • Autonomous Vehicles Its the future baby. And we use our high-fidelity synthetic environments to design and test them. So if you are an engineering who can OOP in any of C derived languages or python, knows ROS and can build/fly drones, Congrats. You own the future and we'd like to hear from you.
  • Machine Learning. And deep learning, and AI in general, but particularly applied to computer vision. We use it in our AR/VR apps, AI in gaming, and most spectacularly, in our Autonomous Vehicles. You'd be expected to scrap data, and build classifiers on fast, real time vision based applications.

How to apply

  1. Send your resume to hr at threye dot com.
  2. Please mention the post you are applying for in the subject heading
  3. Tips and Tricks (these not only apply to us, but just about anywhere else you might be applying)
  • Please use a one pager resume. While we are sure you have much more accomplishments than what you accommodate on one page, but even Steve Jobs and Elon Musk have 1 pager resumes. No one really reads beyond the 1st page.
  • Please don't name your resume as 'Resume_version_date' when you send it. While on your own PC, the file name 'resume' is most likely only yours, but when you email it to another company then they likely get tons of files a day all called 'resume'. Atleast add the name and get rid of the date/version when you send it.
  • And please, use a PDF.
  • And... Good Luck.
